#LaRochelle – Alstom TGV factory, railway station

Back home from sunny Châtelaillon in Charente Maritime to Brussels.

There is no trace of an effort to integrate the local buses and trains to La Rochelle (12 km away) with the times of the trains from La Rochelle to Paris, so we end up getting an expensive taxi (€37). The taxi takes us past the Alstom TGV factory at Aytré – what will the proposed merger with GE mean for them?

La Rochelle railway station is an overspecified delight.
